Introducing Gladys

Who-ever gets named Gladys. That is the question. Who is Gladys?

Gladys is the newly elected fashion color watcher for FashionMista. Gladys is also the resident mom on the site (since my mom doesn't read the blog, as she is afraid of stalkers, so until she steps up...Gladys is, unbeknownst to her, stepping in).

Background check:
Gladys grew up in Brooklyn and has been living in Long Island for 30 years. No, 40 years. She is known and loved by all as a super-mom-teacher-head of the school board. Everybody knows Gladys. Gladys knows everybody, even those she doesn't know. She has many kids, all of whom are successful and bright, one of which is my very own Kelly From Work, or KellyW. Gladys is married to a good man who used to be a Christian brother and then became a math teacher, the kind you didn't want to forget your homework for.

We'll be hearing from Gladys from time to time. Usually seasonally or whenever she calls. Without further dribble, here is Gladys' declaration of the color for fall. Click on the link. It's one of those .mp3 ones that you can hear. Kind of like a podcast, but not regular. It might take a while, so hold tight. Seriously, it takes a long time, so just let it load, like a good bread, if bread loaded.

(yes, i misspelled 'berry.' i had an iced-tall-two-pump-half-caff-vanilla-latte with no bread, so i'm a little scattered, not gonna lie...)

This is, quite simply, the greatest podcast ever.

Lavender? Can't do it.

I know. I do do it, but as a pale blond, should not. Actually, I just bought lavender fabric for a dog bed for my dog. Hopefully she'll be ok with it.
