Once upon a time, there was a little store called
Heidi Story in Brooklyn named after its sparkly owner of the same name. She and her little dog, who ate out of a little pink dish, ran the little store and entertained artists, designers and shoppers all day. One day, a friend of a friend who is now a real friend recommended to Katie of Katie James that she show this Heidi Story her stuff. And she did, after several mentions of the intent, Katie of Katie James trecked all the way down from the upper parts of Manhattan to Brooklyn off the N train, and walked away with orders for the
jewelry pouch and
checkbook cover in purple and periwinkle, plus a renewed interest in the
katelette in funky fabrics and fur trimming, and the
bustier!
The moral of the story is, Katie James is now available in Heidi Story.

Now, if only I could bring together Heidi Story with the
Jimmy Shack, another store in Wilmington, VT that carries Katie James, both of whom are single, own stores of the same name, and are tall.
