All Hail Kelly Waldron, LCCE!!

Kelly Waldron gets her own set of credentials! Nights of attending Lamaze childbirth certification classes, subway rides of reading The Birth Book and other pregnancy book classics (amid curious and wandering eyes of people seated next to her), and weekends of pouring over pregnancy videos of water birth, normal birth, cesarean section, etc., has earned Ms. Waldron the credentials of Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator (LCCE)!

This means that Kelly will teach Lamaze classes (private or through a hospital), which are classes over the course of 6 weeks, where women learn about what's going on with their bodies during pregnancy, good nutrition tips during pregnancy, what's going to happen in labor, what to expect from the hospital (or if you want to be in a birth center or have a home birth), and all sorts of fun stuff for women to stay in control of and be comfortable in their pregnancies!

Stay tuned for the upcoming release of her childbirth education classes under her future website, SmartBirth.org. Also stay tuned for pregnancy "Did you know...?" columns. Since I started working in this industry, I was not aware of the many options a woman has during pregnency and birth! And I think all of us should know!
